Parker

Parker carries for parti, chocolate and black/silver.

I try to raise puppies who are healthy and well socialized. I take them into the vet for the first time when they are between 3 and 5 days old for tail docking and de-claw removal. I do not provide ear cropping; I don't believe in it and will not knowingly sell a dog to someone who wants cropped ears. I believe it is cruel to the dog and I don't care for the look. I try to socialize my puppies around other dogs and people so that the transition from my home into yours is as smooth as it can possibly be for the puppy. They do come with a health guarantee.

Since my operation is so small, puppies are born and raised in my home. They are held, spoiled, pampered and loved from Day 1. They are with their mother 24/7 for the first couple of weeks, then gradually the mother begins leaving them for longer and longer intervals. I start them on regular baby food at about 3 ½ weeks, move into moist dog food and, beginning at 5 weeks, I mix dry puppy food with water and sometimes goat's milk and let them begin eating that. I will not sell a puppy who is not eating totally on his own, which means I usually keep them at least 8 weeks. And I do reserve the right to choose to whom I sell a puppy.
